The Research Office covers a relatively wide range of basic, applied and developmental research projects on agricultural and selected non-agricultural concerns, which are anchored on national and regional research priorities and responsibilities. It likewise considers available resources and systems, which could be mobilized along the production-consumption continuum.
Present thrust is focused on five major components namely:
Crops and Cropping Systems. This focused on the development of production technologies to help increase productivity and profitability of the different crops and cropping patterns/systems and improve village level agro-based industries;
